PROJECT DIRECTOR AND EXHIBITION CURATOR
for The Glasgow School of Art
Performances and Exhibition at Tramway, 2018
Last Futures was a collaboration between the Glasgow School of Art, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow University and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. The project was co-directed by Bexky Sik (GSA) and Josh Armstrong (RCS)
Falling on the 50th anniversary of 1968, the project involved a two-term extracurricular project directed by Kubba, Becky Sik and Josh Armstrong. Students across multiple disciplines from the three institutions collaborated on curation, performance and design, and submitted works for the exhibition. The Exhibition ‘LAST FUTURES’ presented critiques of proposed futures from 50 years ago and imagined alternative visions of futures to come. The main performance was followed by a weekend series of short artist performances.
